Your mortgage is quite possibly the single-largest investment you will ever make.
Are you going to trust the advice of just anyone with that investment?
SERIOUSLY???
I take the time to find out what is actually going to be the best thing for you. Right now. In this (or any) market. So when you find yourself answering what feels like a gazillion questions, please know that it isn’t out of curiosity that I ask. I want to have as much information as possible in order to assist you in making the right decision for you and your family. Some mortgage guys will throw a loan program at you as soon as you’ve given them a few basic pieces of information. Wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am style. All sealed up in a box and packaged easy as you please. And when a glitch happens, as sometimes they do, they aren’t really sure what to do about it, because it doesn’t exactly fit into their box. We don’t expect you to contort into the shape or size of our box. Your home is almost as distinct as you are. Shouldn’t your loan fit YOU instead of the other way around?
My name is Chris Jones. I have worked in the mortgage industry since 2003 and at City First since 2007. I have found in these years of experience a few things to be absolutely true, regardless of the current rates, housing “bubbles”, and economic downturns.
First; that everyone, and I mean everyone has a story.
Second; that most people just want to be heard.
Third; that regardless of the story, if I am willing to take the time to both listen and help create a better story, then not only can I eventually find a loan for just about anybody, but they will refer everyone they know to me, and I have clients and friends for life.
It’s not always an easy process, and sometimes it takes longer than other times. I can’t promise the shortest times on every loan – some stories take longer to develop. But if there’s a loan that you (or your referral) can qualify for, I’ll find it and find a way to get you into it.
